Dr. Satya Gupta

Dr. Satya Gupta has spent over three decades building India's semiconductor ecosystem. He was part of the team that built India's first silicon compiler at IIT Delhi, spent 11 years at Intel working on the Pentium Pro and Paragon supercomputers and starting one of Intel's first chip design activities in India, and has founded four chip design and electronics startups. He co-founded the India Electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA), which he chaired in 2012 and 2020, and is President of the VLSI Society of India. He has contributed to the National Electronics Policy and to programmes including C2S, DLI and the India Semiconductor Mission, and received the VLSI Society of India's Lifetime Achievement Award in 2023.
